Summer Camp 2026

At BFS summer camp, the land, sea, and sky come together to nurture and inspire a love of nature while fostering a deeper connection with the natural world. Our camp counselors and teachers encourage curiosity and creativity through activities like hiking, wildlife exploration, birding, herbal healing, songs, games, and nature crafts.
Children are free to take their time—slowing down, connecting with the environment, and discovering new skills, all while enjoying the simplicity and beauty of the outdoors and forming lifelong friendships. Our program supports children in building confidence, learning new skills, and creating lasting memories—unhurried, in community, and free.

Inquire here for information about our School Break Camps for the 2025-2026 season. We have Fall Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break Camps for children age 4-8! Some 3 yr olds may also be accepted.
We are so excited to offer 8 weeks of Summer Camp for the 2026 season. Our summer camp is open to children 4 - 8 years old, and 3 year olds who have completed one year of preschool. Each session is led by our forest school teachers who are experienced in both child development and all-outdoors place-based learning. If you are interested and your child is not-yet 4, but has had one year of preschool experience, just send us an email to see if it’s a good fit.
Summer Camp is Mondays through Fridays from 9am-3:00pm, with aftercare available until 5:00pm.
Week 1 — June 15 - June 19
Week 2 — June 22 - June 26
Week 3 — June 29 - July 3
Week 4 — July 6 - July 10
Week 5 — July 13 - July 17
Week 6 — July 20 - July 24
Week 7 — July 27 - July 31
Week 8 — August 3 - August 7
Extended week — August 10 - 14 may also be available for children enrolled in earlier weeks of camp. Once your registration is finalized, please send us an inquiry email.
refunds and cancellation policies
Cancellations on or before February 1: A refund will be processed in the amount of your payment minus a $150 administrative fee. Credit card processing fees are not refundable.
Cancellations on or before March 1: A refund will be processed in the amount of 50% of your payment, unless we are able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist. If we are able to fill your spot, a refund will be processed in the full amount of your payment minus a $150 administrative fee. Credit card processing fees are not refundable.
Cancellations after April 1: No refund given unless we are able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist. If we are able to fill your spot, a refund will be processed in the full amount of your payment minus a $150 administrative fee. Credit card processing fees are not refundable.
Cancellations after May 1: No refunds given. Camp credit may be offered.

Camp Costs
Each Camp Session is $525 per week
Alumni families: $475 per week
Earlybird rate: $475 per week until 1/1/26
Aftercare (3pm-5pm) is $150 per week
Morning Care (8:30-9am) is $50 per week
Discounts Available
Sibling Discount — 10% off second child enrolled
Multi-Week Discount — 10% off your 3rd week and consecutive weeks after that. Applies to base camp fare only, does not apply to morning or after care.
Additional discounted rates and scholarships available for single parents and for households earning less than $90k/yr — Please email for info.
Payment plans and installments for multi-week enrollments are available with a $500 deposit paid upon confirmation. Payments due in full: March 2025.
